31/Atlas: A Providential Sign

Astronomers are baffled about an unusual observation they have made about interstellar object 31/Atlas that is currently moving in the direction of the earth. The comet actually has two tails, one of which is an "anti-tail," which normally occurs as an optical illusion, whereas this anti-tail “is not a perspective effect” but a “real physical jet,” says Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb. Astronomers have also described this second tail as a “strange protrusion.”
Eerily, this anti-tail is pointed toward the sun and has been shooting gaseous material toward it, not away from it. The powerful beams and solar wind from the sun normally push a comet's tail in the opposite direction of the sun and scientists can't figure out why this anti-tail is doing the opposite.
“Its nature is a mystery because gas and micrometer-dust particles are expected to be pushed away from the Sun by solar radiation pressure and solar wind, creating the appearance of a tail—as routinely seen in solar-system comets,” Loeb wrote.
Over a month after the comet’s closest pass by the sun on October 29, observations still clearly show 31/Atlas’ anti-tail, as noted by Loeb in a new update on his blog. A December 13 image taken by the Teerasak Thaluang telescope in Rayong, Thailand, “shows a prominent anti-tail, uncommon for comets, pointing in the direction of the sun,” noted Loeb.
Avi Loeb doesn't know what to make of 31/Atlas and in his frustration, he is even saying it could be an "alien spacecraft" because the comet emits a heartbeat-like pulse. Loeb has even suggested that the comet is a steered craft that was “engineered” by aliens. This shows just how confused astronomers can be!
Harvard Astronomer Says 31/Atlas isn’t a Natural Comet
However, there is something to be gleaned from this in that Loeb is admitting that 31/Atlas isn’t exactly a natural comet. Observations show that when the comet was nearest to the sun on October 29, it was in a highly active state. Could it possibly be that highly volatile and unusual matter ejected from the comet could somehow trigger an explosion on the sun that would bring on the great Warning prophesied by Catholic mystics?
We know that an outbreak of war in Europe will immediately precede the Warning and it is now reported that Putin is massing over 360,000 troops near Europe’s borders.
31/Atlas is certainly something to keep our eye on. It is expected to reach its closest proximity to the earth on December 19. It has been described by experts as "inexplicable" because of its twin tails and erratic behavior, including a dramatic spike in brightness, rapid expansion of its coma, and irregular trajectory.
Comets Hale Bopp (1997) and Kohoutek (1973) likewise displayed these irregularities while the dwarf star Nemesis (1984) left scientists bewildered. Some have speculated that these three along with 31/Atlas are one and the same interstellar object that has reappeared over time but in altered and perplexing ways. Avi Loeb argues that with 31/Atlas we should be ready to “expect the unexpected.”
Has it occurred to our men of science that perhaps this celestial mystery is something sent from God to teach mankind a lesson?
