Can’t Bishops of the Main Hierarchical Body Consecrate Bishops for the SSPX?

As we know, the heretical and sex-oriented Cardinal Victor Fernandez who heads the Vatican’s doctrinal department (DDF) has repeatedly threatened to excommunicate the priestly Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) if they go through with their plan to consecrate four new bishops on July 1. And whereas the excommunication would not be valid due to Fernandez’ schismatic nature, it would not be good for the SSPX to be labelled “excommunicated” because half of their members might fall away from the Society thus depriving it of the funds needed to even continue as a society.

This whole issue surrounding the SSPX concerns the Vatican’s order that the Society not consecrate their own bishops, but the Vatican has never explicitly forbidden tradition-minded bishops of the main hierarchical body to consecrate bishops for the SSPX. And whereas to do so wouldn’t exactly be canonical, the consecrations would be valid without warranting punitive action because mainline bishops were never ordered not to consecrate SSPX bishops nor has the Society ever been declared schismatic.

Rome Today is Virtually Schismatic

On the other hand, today’s Vatican is virtually schismatic because of its manifold heresies and because some 80 percent of its clergy are homosexual. Not to mention that Leo and Fernandez have openly expressed their endorsement of homosexuality and have gone so far as to say that adhering to sexual ethics is no longer important but that including gays and other like offenders in the Church is what must be emphasized. This completely breaks with the Church’s magisterial teaching and tradition.

While the world is eye-balling July 1 to see what happens with the SSPX consecrations, why can’t the SSPX cancel the July 1 event without announcing it and simply transfer it to another day like July 4 when everyone is celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Stars and Stripes? What Fernandez and the media don’t know won’t hurt them. They could learn later what happened, but in the meantime the consecration of new bishops would be validly done without the Society having done this themselves.

If the SSPX feels they need new bishops at this time they should maybe consider this approach.
