Is the Battle of the Popes Approaching?

Schism in the Catholic Church can be defined as a voluntary break from the papacy and from legitimate Church authority whereby one adheres to the false teachings of a counter church. This is not to be confused with a false schism where loyal Catholics separate themselves from an antipope and hold to the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church. We might see this as a wholesome schism. Let us not forget that when Martin Luther and his followers were separated from the Church this was not a disgrace for the Church but a joy and victory for the Church. Yea, it was the work of God!
We bring this up because the time could be approaching when two popes might reign in the Eternal City, namely, a true pope with his good cardinals and an antipope and with his fallen cardinals. Should this come about, we will be obliged to adhere to the true pope and not to his adversary. Catholics are always obliged to separate themselves from a prelate who despises doctrine and who advocates a new humanistic counter church, even if he be named a pope.
A Pope who Promotes LGBT and a New Religion is Not Valid
A true pope, while being subject to some error, could never profess a new religion because any attempt to do so would automatically render his papacy null if in fact he ever was a pope. Sadly, right now we have a number of LGBT contenders for the Chair of Peter who seek to abandon tradition and build toward a new synodal church that has no connection with the apostles.
Though they read the scriptures daily at Mass they neither believe nor understand what they read. These are subverted modernists who now go about saying that the next pope “must continue the legacy of Francis.”
Given the severe state of affairs in Rome, we must be on the watch about who will be made pope because so many of the papal contenders are heretics, globalists, and LGBT advocates. We must look at what they do, that is, what they sign, who they appoint, etc., not what they say, because these vipers have no qualms about lying through their teeth.
If WEF affiliates like Cardinal Turkson or Cardinal Parolin are elected pope, their papacy would be null because they are avid promoters of satanic globalist agenda. The same applies for people like Cardinals Tobin, Cupich, or McElroy. Their infamous same-sex advocacy would automatically render their election null.
Benedict was the Last Pope before the Tribulations
According to the prophecies of St. Malachy and Garabandal, Benedict XVI was the last pope before the tribulations and that the pope that follows would be Peter the Roman who will restore all things. 1
The Blessed Virgin told Conchita of Garabandal that after the death of Pope John XXIII in 1963, there would remain four popes before “the end of times,” which we now know to be Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI.
St. Malachy prophesied the remaining 112 popes from his time to the end of time. 2 Concerning the last of these he says:
"In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city [Rome] will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End.”
Final Showdown Between a Pope and an Antipope?
According to past mystics, Peter the Roman will be badgered by a competitor pope (antipope), but one who will be defeated by the Roman prince. If these prophecies are accurate, it either means the upcoming conclave will initially elect a genuine pope after which a coalition of bad cardinals will call their own conclave to elect an antipope, or it means the conclave will elect an antipope after which a coalition of good cardinals will convene a second conclave to elect the true pope. There could very well be two popes ahead. Should this happen, the good pope will be the last pope of history, i.e. Peter the Roman.
In the 15th century, Venerable Bernard de Bustis had this to say:
“Near the time of the Antichrist, will come... a most violent conflict with the Roman Church such that there will be great tribulations. At this time, a schism will be produced in the bosom of the Church on the occasion of the election of the pope... there is one who will be called the true pope, but he will not be truly so. He will persecute the true pope and all those who obey him, so that the majority will declare themselves for the antipope rather than for the true pope.”
The moral of the story is that we cannot join ourselves to a bogus pope even if the whole church runs after him. Numbers meaning nothing in the Kingdom of God. “Right is right even if no one does it, wrong is wrong even if everyone does it.” (St. Augustine) If an antipope is elected, the Church at large will be mightily tempted to run after him.
However, if enough people storm heaven now for a true and holy pope, God will grant us this pope who ultimately will be the victor in the end. Let us only make sure that we adhere to him if he is elected, even if is he called “schismatic.”
1. What this means is that Francis wasn’t a pope since he neither restored things nor was he Peter the Roman.
2. The end of time is the time of the great and final chastisement that will immediately usher in the Second Coming of Christ. The beginning of “the end of times” was set in motion with the death of Pope Benedict XVI who has been called the final bulwark before the end-day tribulations. He himself referred to himself that way.
