In a recent interview with show host Stephen Kokx, Fr. Paul Kramer relays that in the 1950s Pope Pius Xll read the written text of the Third Secret of Fatima, and in sorrow exclaimed, "Poor Canada!" According to those privy to its contents, the Third Secret (yet to be released) speaks of the great apostasy to befall the Catholic Church, along with other chastisements to be visited upon an unrepentant world, including the annihilation of nations. What Pope Pius Xll feared would soon transpire across the pond.
September 27th, 1968, will go down as a day of infamy as it marked the beginning of the end for Canada. As the fire of modernism raged in the wake of Vatican ll, Canada stood at the edge of a precipice overlooking a tremendous fall when the Canadian bishops gathered at Fort Garry Hotel to draft up what is known as the “Winnipeg Statement,” which was a formal rejection of Pope Paul Vl's pro-life encyclical Humanae Vitae issued two months earlier. The bishops' statement was an infamous departure from Pope Paul's clear condemnation of artificial contraception.
Canadian Bishops Ushered in Canada’s Culture of Death
This episcopal rejection of Pope Paul’s encyclical sounded the death knell for Canada as a gruesome era of antilife would ensue so that the murder of unborn children would eventually be allowed during any stage of pregnancy. The apostate Canadian bishops marched in lockstep with the newly elected prime minister Pierre Trudeau who first brought abortion to Canada. On June 27th, 1969, Trudeau's left-wing government passed the Criminal Law Amendment Act, also known as the Omnibus Bill, which introduced changes to laws on divorce, abortion, contraception and homosexuality.
The Canadian Federation for Sexual Health expressed their comment: "Surprisingly, the Canadian Catholic Conference of the Roman Catholic Church did not oppose the law, stating that Canada was a pluralistic society." Yea, the bishops agreed with the law. Their rejection of Humanae Vitae brought spiritual dankness upon the Church in Canada, which in turn robbed the civilian sector of spiritual light to the scandal of many Canadian citizens, especially those working in the judicial, legislative, and medical systems.
Our Lady of La Salette warned, "The Church will be in eclipse, the world will be in dismay."
On January 28th 1988, the Supreme Court of Canada removed all restrictions to abortion, saying it was "unconstitutional" to call it a crime. It is now a government-funded "medical procedure" done in all nine months of pregnancy, for any reason. The pro-abortion mentality has aborted many Canadian people's consciences. "Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter." (Isaias 5:20) The prophet also said, “Woe to them that make wicked laws!” (Isaias 10:1)
It was around 2010 during a 40 Days for Life Campaign in Winnipeg at the Woman's Hospital that I brought with me a small stack of papers, handwritten. It was a brief monologue of an unborn baby talking to his mother. I went inside and distributed these copies in the waiting rooms, including the second floor (where I was born) and the infamous fourth floor where the abortions were performed. Soon after I returned outside, two police officers approached me and said that if I was caught going back inside with more papers I would be arrested. I couldn't help but think, "Why not go after the actual criminals dismembering babies on the 4th floor?"
On July 20th, 2005, same-sex "marriage" was legalized nationwide with the enactment of the federal Civil Marriage Act (uncivil-marriage act). I was about to begin my junior year in high school that September, and all the homo madness was evident shortly after walking through the school doors. Students were told to hold hands with classmates of the same sex and were sat down in the library to watch a film about different types of "families." That's just one example. So much more could be said.
As if things weren't bad enough, Canada's Medical Aid in Dying law, known also as the MAiD law (Bill C-14) was passed on June 17th, 2016, with significant expansions added in 2021 removing the previous requirement of "reasonably foreseeable death." Now they are floating the idea of euthanizing those solely with "mental illness" by 2027. "Mental illness" can mean whatever the corrupt government and medical establishment want it to mean. According to them, citizens who are pro-life Catholic could be classified as "mentally ill" and dragged in for execution.
Over 76000 MAiD deaths have been reported as of late 2025, with 16499 taking place in 2024 alone, accounting for 5 percent of all Canadian deaths. Disabled people are being told, during routine doctor visit, to consider signing up for MAiD (to get euthanized) and equally frightening is the fact that these killings are being called "provisions."
According to political commentator Tucker Carlson, the antilife crisis in Canada is worse than China’s. With regard to euthanasia, Carlson said in a recent interview with Matt Walsh, “I would feel much freer and safer living in China than in Canada.”
My Testimony
Though euthanasia was officially passed into Canadian law in 2016, the practice had been going on secretly for some time. Here is my personal testimony. My mother, Irene, was diagnosed with cancer in 2011. The following year, while in palliative "care," I asked that Mom be given feeding tubes as she could no longer eat normally. Hospital staff suggested that feeding tubes would be "uncomfortable." When this was said, initially I assumed (in my naivete) that the medical personnel would still make sure to find some way to administer nutrition and hydration. Perhaps by IV?
Soon after, it became evident that this was not being done, and I raised objections to their woeful negligence. The hospital's response was to call in the "mental health worker" to assess what "phycological disorder" was preventing me from "letting go." Sadly, Mom died shortly before Christmas that same year. Medical staff had committed what St. Pope John Paul ll called "euthanasia by omission."
Our Lady warned at Fatima that if Russia was not consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, Russia would spread its errors throughout the world. Today we see this playing out, especially in bleak places like Canada. Even in these dire times, let us not forget that first and foremost we are in a spiritual battle that we can still win if we bring the Queen back onto the political chessboard to knock off the black king by following Our Lady’s directives.
Let us all pray and do penance to atone for our own sins and those of others. Thereby, we can gain the grace for the salvation of souls and bring about the conversion of both Canada and Russia, who with China brought to Canada antilife indoctrination.
