Clergy Alluring the Faithful with False Security

During the present-day apostasy we see the Catholic faithful being misled by the fallacy that God unconditionally forgives and blesses everyone regardless of their sins. The enemies of the Faith have craftily woven into the Mass and into the Sunday sermons the insidious lie that “God blesses our present way of life” when in fact our present way of shame and LGBT living have no blessing from God. Many lay people, priests, and even the pope have forgotten the warning of St. Paul:

“Know you this and understand, that no fornicator, or unclean, or covetous person (which is a serving of idols), hath inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of these things cometh the anger of God upon the children of unbelief.” (Ephesians 5:5)

St. Paul says, “There shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.” (2 Timothy 4:3) Those days indeed have arrived. The sound doctrine of Christ is to embrace the Cross of Christ and to do penance for our sins, but instead we have false pastors who run about luring the faithful with the false idea of automatic forgiveness and mercy.

It appears that the Church fathers have forgotten the following admonition from the Bible.

“Be not without fear about sin forgiven, and add not sin upon sin: And say not: The mercy of the Lord is great, he will have mercy on the multitude of my sins.  For mercy and wrath quickly come from him, and his wrath looks upon sinners.” (Ecc. 5:5-7)

Christ tells us, “If you will not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive you your offences.” (Mt. 6:15) Hence if one dies holding a grudge, he will not be forgiven but will be eternally banished, even if he is reborn through baptism, yet the false pastors of our time refuse to acknowledge this. Instead they charm the ears of the gullible just to be popular.

St. Peter speaks of the false prophets of the last times who would go about “alluring unstable souls” (2 Peter 2:14), and “Promising them liberty, whereas they themselves are the slaves of corruption.” (2:19) This certainly includes today’s heretics who flatter the unwary by telling them that good works aren’t needed and that God loves them just as they are.

The Apostle says that a Christian who does not excel in good works “is blind, and groping, having forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.” (2 Peter 1:9) He says that to secure our calling to be saved we must persevere in virtue and good works. “Wherefore, brethren, labor the more, that by good works you may make sure your calling and election.” (2 Peter 1:10)

Peter makes it clear that returning to former sins after having known the way of Christ will cause one to lose his salvation.

“For if, flying from the pollutions of the world, through the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they be again entangled in them and overcome: their latter state is become unto them worse than the former.

“For it had been better for them not to have known the way of justice, than after they have known it, to turn back from that holy commandment which was delivered to them. For, that of the true proverb has happened to them: The dog is returned to his vomit.” (2 Peter 2: 20-22)

The Fear God is Essential for Salvation

Some will argue that God is all goodness and mercy, but his mercy is only “to them that fear him” (Luke 1:50), not to them who offend him. We see the Church today being turned into a polluted merry-go-round as the people stream into the Church in their shorts and straps and in their low-cuts and midriffs, which calls to mind the words of the Psalmist: “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” (Psalms 13:3) The fear of God is essential for salvation, “For he that is without fear, cannot be justified: for the wrath of his high spirits is his ruin.” (Ecc. 1:28)

Clapping and Celebrating in Church is an Abomination

By casting off rules and making fun of religion people truly show that they don’t fear God. Clapping and celebrating our ‘forgiveness’ in Church is the sin of presumption, which is one of the sins against the Holy Spirit. No one is forgiven unless they tell God they are sorry for sins, both in the confessional and in action. If one ever expects to be saved, he must “fear God, and depart from evil” (Proverbs 3:7) and must abandon the idea that God accepts us as we are, for this is a Protestant deception being taught in today’s seminaries that have now been reduced to hellholes of heresy.

Some will argue that walking in the fear of God is ‘Old Testament stuff’ but they’re forgetting that “The fear of the Lord God is the beginning of wisdom.” (Proverbs 1:7) Christ didn’t come to do away of the law but to perfect it (Mt. 5:17), which is why he now demands a stricter observance of the law than in former times. For example, he says:

You have heard that it was said to them of old: Thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matt. 5: 27,28) Again he says, “You have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thy enemy. But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you.” (Mt. 5: 43,44)

In the Gospel, Jesus tells us that love is the keeping of his commandments. “If you love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15) Ecclesiasticus makes this very point.

“They that fear the Lord, will not be incredulous to his word: and they that love him, will keep his way. They that fear the Lord, will seek after the things that are well pleasing to him: and they that love him, shall be filled with his law. They that fear the Lord, will prepare their hearts, and in his sight will sanctify their souls.” (Ecc. 2: 18-20)

Silence is Complicity

With this point in mind, St. Paul admonished us to work out our salvation “with fear and trembling.” (Phil 2:12) A key way that we work out our salvation is to make sure we never do harm to others and that we never condone such a thing. As they say, “silence is complicity.”

In his July 27th Angelus address, Pope Leo XIV said that to call God our “Father” one must avoid being insensitive to his children. He quoted St. John Chrysostom as saying:

“You cannot call the God of all kindness your Father if you preserve a cruel and inhuman heart; for in this case you no longer have in you the mark of the heavenly Father’s kindness.” Leo said, “We cannot pray to God as ‘Father’ and then be harsh and insensitive towards others.”

One of the most harsh and insensitive things one can do is to neglect helping his brother in need to rescue him from destruction. If a child wanders out into the street not realizing that a large truck is headed toward him, any true friend or relative will quickly alert that child to get off the street and will pull him onto the curb to preserve his life.

Today we see a major sector of the Church treading down the path of destruction by their embrace of heresy, impurity, and LGBT living, yet the clergy show very little care for these endangered souls who are digging their own grave. Instead of correcting them they bless their “present way of life” and even go out of their way to bless their LGBT living, so how can the pope and clergy call God their “Father” if they passively stand by and watch his children going down the path of perdition? Where is the pastoral care?

While the new order of presumption and fake renewal were set in motion at Vatican II, it was Pope Francis who took it to the full with his agenda of fake mercy, which was a key tactic of the Communists to destroy the Catholic Church. Hopefully, Leo XIV will have the grace and good sense to shun the temptation that ‘God has called him to continue the legacy of Francis.’

Let us earnestly pray that Leo follows Christ and not Francis lest the La Salette prophecy of “two worm ridden popes” come to pass.

This piece hits deep—an honest reflection on faith, influence, and trust. It’s refreshing to read such thought-provoking writing. That mix of strength and depth feels a lot like the DJ Próvai Black Boiler Suit, which carries a subtle yet powerful edge in every stitch.

It's crucial to distinguish between genuine support and empty promises, whether in matters of faith or in the products we choose. There's a similar integrity in well-crafted pieces like the Deus Ex Adam Coat that deliver both striking design and substantive durability.
