Will Priestly Blessings for LGBT Couples Continue under Leo XIV?

A great many at this time are perplexed seeing that Pope Leo XIV initially came off as a flash-in-the-pan with promises that he would shun the spirit of the age and uphold the tradition of the Faith, only to see that he is now promoting political “climate action” and appointing pro-LGBT and pro-women ordination prelates to the highest positions of the Church.
The question is asked: is the enemy pointing a gun to Leo’s head and instilling fears that his allegiance to Church tradition will bring about his demise?
Soon after his election, Leo acknowledged the significance of a cardinal's red garb in that it shows his willingness to shed his blood for the Faith, so what happened? Is he or is he not willing to live up to that garb? He doesn’t wear the papal red shoes but chooses to wear simple black shoes like Francis did, so has he chosen to walk in Francis’ footsteps or in Christ’s?
Two Worm Ridden Popes
In a video released several years back, Fr. Gregory Hesse who was a Canon Lawyer and Doctor of Divinity revealed that the late Fr. Malachi Martin told him that the Secret of La Salette (1846) spoke of "two worm-ridden popes" to come, but added that a questionable cardinal later pulled that phrase from the La Salette message.
Could Francis have been the first of these popes with Leo being the second? Certainly, Leo is following in Francis’ footsteps. And too, did the La Salette prophecy even refer to valid popes? Let us not forget the prophecy of Garabandal that after the demise of John XXIII four popes would remain before the “end of times,” which would make Benedict XVI the last pope. Note that Benedict and his three predecessors never once showed the least respect for LGBT living, but the last two have. Were it otherwise, they wouldn't have appointed LGBT sex offenders to high positions in the Church.
Priestly Blessings for Same-Sex Couples Continue
According to some sources, Pope Leo is now saying that priestly blessings for same-sex couples will continue in his pontificate. A Vatican official confirmed that Pope Leo will continue the same-sex blessing policy initiated by Francis via "Tucho" Fernandez. Cardinal Fernandez who heads the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith told an Italian journalist that the declaration of Fiducia Supplicans to bless homosexual couples “will remain.”
Regarding this, Pope Leo said that what is blessed is "not the union, but the persons, naturally taking into account the context, sensitivities, the places where one lives, and the most appropriate ways to do it."
Unfortunately, to bless the couple is to bless their union. Saying that the Church is blessing the person and not their sin makes as much sense as saying that a priest can bless a gunman who vows to shoot everyone, yet he is not blessing his sin.
Mega Scandal
If nothing else, blessing same-sex couples sends the signal across the world that the Church now blesses homosexuality, regardless of how the hierarchy tries to explain it away. It is a mega-scandal! “Woe to the world because of scandals.” (Mt. 18: 7) Why even make issue of something so rotten? If a prelate is going to make issue of homosexuality it should be in the form of condemning it.
As for the “context” and “sensitivities” of a sex offender, the Church cannot take into account his culture, environment, or sensitivities, but must lay down the law as given by God with no bending of rules. “Man shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind.” (Leviticus 18:22) The Church must pastorally do what it can to encourage homosexuals to accept God's rule of law, yes, but it must never pacify them or bless their relationships.
The only way the Church could licitly bless a homosexual couple is if they truly want help in abandoning their vice and they promise to go to confession. With this, they must promise that they will never engage in homosexuality again. After all, there is no need for it. Homosexuality is only a desire, not a need.
Nearly all the LGBT people that Leo agrees to bless have no intention of abandoning homosexual living. The Church may not bless a person if he has vowed to continue in mortal sin. The Church doesn’t give to dogs what is holy (Mt. 7: 6).
The Church Must Admonish Homosexuals
To be eligible for a priestly blessing, a homosexual must also promise to remain away from his sex partner in keeping with the Church's teaching that we "avoid the occasion of sin." Admonishing homosexuals thus infuriates them because they live for their shame and demand that it be recognized. Leo knows this very well yet he is willing to bless them but with no intention of admonishing them. The clergy today have forgotten that homosexuality is one of the four sins crying to Heaven for vengeance. Sodomy is a crime that the LGBT community must be reminded of, yet Fiducia Supplicans erases this truth from their minds.
Pope Leo Does Not Intend to Retract Fiducia Supplicans
According to one report, Leo has no intention of retracting Fiducia Supplicans. In an interview with Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich in the Italian Catholic daily La Stampa in May, the cardinal said that Pope Leo will not abolish Fiducia Supplicans. The fact that there are no known Vatican plans to abolish the document lends credence to the cardinal’s claim.
Thanks to Fiducia Supplicans, millions of Catholics the world over now think homosexually is blessed by God and his Church. This was the intention of Francis and Fernandez in promulgating the document in December 2023, so the Vatican has a moral duty to condemn the document. Why has this not been done? In the face of today's escalating sodomite plague, the pope and bishops are bound to reiterate the Church's age-old condemnation of homosexuality. Why the silence? Silence in the face of evil is complicity.
Negligence
There indeed remains much undone business in Rome that needs to be taken care of, like removing LGBT advocate Cardinal McElroy from his episcopal position in Washington DC that Leo as a cardinal secured for him, or exonerating and apologizing to the exemplary Bishop Strickland for executing Francis' malicious wish to remove him from the Tyler Diocese last year.
This is not to mention the palliums that Leo recently bestowed on two persecutors of the Church i.e., pro-LGBT Cardinal Weisenburger of Detroit and LGBT advocate Cardinal McElroy of Washington DC, both of whom are vicious opponents of the Traditional Latin Mass. Leo is well aware of their scandals and heresies; he knew exactly what he was doing.
Why did Leo Confirm “Tucho” as Vatican Doctrinal Chief?
And too, why did he confirm the infamous Cardinal Fernandez as the Vatican's doctrinal chief when he is a manifest heretic and sex predator known for his pornographic and promiscuous publications? Fernandez was the one who executed Francis' decision to bless same-sex couples and to extend open arms to homosexuals as part of Francis’ "inclusion" agenda.
And what about LGBT advocate Fr. James Martin who is known the world over for his promotion of homosexuality in the Church? By pushing his sodomite rot he has wrought irreparable damage on priests, bishops, and lay persons. People like Fr. Martin and Cardinal McElroy are the ones spawning all the sexual abuse in the Church so why haven’t they been removed?
And now we read about Fr. Carlo Alberto Capella who was convicted in 2018 of child pornography and sent to jail for five years and who has now been re-integrated into the Vatican Curia to enjoy full freedom within the Vatican. What has Pope Leo done about this? How is it that he could consent to his readmission while executing Francis’ directive to expel Bishop Strickland from his Texas diocese for no just reason? As of yet, Leo has done nothing to reverse this sinister decision. This certainly is not the work of God.
And now we read about Fr. Carlo Alberto Capella who was convicted in 2018 of child pornography and sent to jail for five years and who has now been re-integrated into the Vatican Curia to enjoy full freedom within the Vatican. What has Pope Leo done about this?
Another Offender
Another offender has reared his head in the San Bernardino Diocese in California, Bishop Alberto Rojas who heads the diocese. He recently promoted a Gay Pride Mass at Don Bosco Mission on June 28 in which the celebrant Fr. David Andel said that ‘God is proud of LGBT Catholics.’
“Like any good parent, God is proud of you. God is proud of you for turning the other cheek; for forgiving seventy times seven, the same offences and the same insults.”
In the Communist world, criminals are always portrayed as persecuted martyrs as we see here. It is the LGBT community that persecutes the Church and that needs forgiveness. Their cause is criminal, yet Rojas applauds it. He has a reputation of cancelling priests who speak out against homosexuality.
As seen in the news, Bishop Rojas has now dispensed Catholics from attending Sunday Mass if they fear that ICE agents might raid their parish. Clearly, he abets the Marxist red movement. Rojas has a reputation of cancelling priests who speak out against homosexuality.
Why hasn’t Rome taken action against him and those like him? Where is Leo the Lion who promised to safeguard the Church?
