What it Means to Say the Mass is Valid

As many of us know, Christ and His Holy Mother delivered to the world over 300 powerful and enlightening messages of prophecy during their apparitions at Bayside, New York (1970-1995). These revelations were transmitted through the late seer Veronica of the Cross during outdoor Rosary vigils held in Bayside-Flushing Meadows, located in the borough of Queens, New York.

A point of the message that should be clarified concerns what Our Lady means when she says the New Mass of our time is valid, because many have construed this to mean that Jesus and Mary validate the modern changes in the Mass, which is the furthest thing from the truth.  Jesus and Mary do not validate these modernist innovations, quite obviously, since they came to Bayside to condemn these changes and to return the Mass to its former state of honor as it existed before Vatican II.

By “valid” Jesus and Mary simply mean that the Sacrifice of Calvary continues to be reenacted on the altar despite the modern change of liturgy. During the Consecration of the Mass when the priest elevates the Host and Chalice, the Sacrifice of Christ is renewed whereby the substance of bread and wine is changed into the substance of Christ’s Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. And while this change comes about mystically, it nonetheless is real, which is why Christ’s physical and supernatural presence in the tabernacle is called the Real Presence of Christ. This is why the faithful must not talk in Church and why women must always cover their heads in Church because the angels demand it (1 Cor. 11:10).

Without the above clarification some will go through life thinking that Bayside sanctions the innovations that grew out of Vatican II. Not so. What the Blessed Virgin has repeatedly stressed is that the institution of faith founded by her Son remains forever true despite today’s wayward meanderings. As Jesus himself said on June 18, 1987:

"The institution itself, as set up by Me, remains to be true; however, the cavorting and the banjos and the guitars and the musical interludes and the dancing are all created by satan. So you can understand that satan has entered now with his armies in full regalia, appearing as humans.”

Shenanigans Not Acceptable

Obviously, Christ does not validate these new shenanigans. God validates what he himself has given us, especially His Son’s Sacrifice that he planted in our midst 2000 years ago.

The primary difference between the old and new Mass is that the former renders honor to Christ’s Sacrifice while the latter detracts from it. The message of Bayside says that the Traditional Latin Mass must be returned to extirpate the many errors that the new Mass has produced. The message of July 21, 1985, says:

“Jesus is not pleased with the manner in which His clergy are carrying out their vocations, and also the Mass. Jesus wishes that the old Mass be returned to wipe out many of the errors that have crept in since the new Mass has started.” (Our Lady to Veronica)

Again we read:

“Communion in the hand has not been, and will not be accepted by Heaven. This is a sacrilege in the eyes of the Eternal Father, and must not be continued, for you only add to your punishment when you continue on in the ways that have been found to be unpleasing to the Eternal Father.” (Our Lady, June 30, 1984)

Clearly, Communion in the hand is illicit and has no sanction from God. Let there be no mistake: Christ is not pleased with today’s bishops and their heretical teachings. Consider this excerpt from October 2, 1976:

"Awaken, pastors, from your slumber! Can you, O bishops, not spare but the little time to look into your seminaries? I say but one expression to you: they have become hell-holes of error and heresy! Clean out your seminaries, My bishops! My Son will lay upon you a heavy hand in penance!” (Our Lady, October 2, 1976)

That Christ refuses to validate the modern liturgical changes is evident from the following excerpt from November 22, 1975:

"I send to My clergy, those whom I have given the grace to represent Heaven upon earth, this warning: You must now return to your traditional rites! You must restore My House from its crumbling exterior and rotting interior. You must rebuild what you seek to destroy--NOW!”

Again we see that Christ does not approve the change of liturgy that was ‘promulgated’ nearly 60 years ago. According to the message of Bayside, satan was the father of the new changes. This point is highlighted in the following excerpt from 1986:

“On that date, as promised at Fatima, satan entered My Church upon earth. He brought with him his agents. And satan himself, the deceiver of all mankind, sat in on Vatican II and maneuvered all the outsiders to come in and distort My doctrines and distort the truth.” (Jesus, June 18, 1986)

The “outsiders” were the Freemasons and Protestants that sat in on the Council and who had a major hand in undermining the Mass. Even so, the Consecration of the Mass remains valid. Christ remains in the parish church framework fulfilling his promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against his Church (Mt. 16:18).

As long as the Mass is said by a legally ordained priest and that sufficient form and matter are used in the Mass, the Mass remains valid. Christ daily puts up with the present new-order of sacrilege to make himself available to those who wish to receive and defend him, therefore, Heaven doesn’t want us fleeing from the Church because it is still the House of God and abandoning it makes it much easier for the heretics to take over.

Unwarranted Fear

Unfortunately, some fear that if they stay in their parish they will be robbed of the Blessed Sacrament, but Heaven assures us that the Holy Sacrament is still there – it is valid. On August 21, 1981, the Blessed Virgin gave us this consoling counsel:

"Do not judge My Son's House, His Church, by the man [priest]. Though he is a representative--legal, a legal representative of My Son in His House, he is but a human in his nature. But during the time that My Son comes to you, this man will be used through the Holy Spirit, regardless of the state of his human nature, be it sin or a saint--be it a sinner or one who has led even those astray--at the time that My Son comes in the Consecration, He shall not turn aside from you, My Son.”
