Is the DDF Advancing the Transmission of the Faith or the Transmission of Apostasy?

The Vatican Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) has published a new document: “Venite ad Me: Considerations on the Tranmission of the Faith in an Epochal Change.” The document was approved by Pope Leo on August 21, and bears the signature of Cardinal Victor Fernandez, prefect of the Dicastery.
The document says that sharing or transmitting the Faith is difficult today because of the times in which we are living, implying that it should not be spread anymore. Most Catholics today know that Fernandez is an LGBTQ advocate and that is against spreading the Faith. He says in the document:
“It must be acknowledged that what is in crisis is not only the transmission of the faith, but also a certain vision of the human person and of his or her foundational values.”
In other words, one’s personal “foundational values” (of embracing LGBTQ living) is in conflict with the spread of the Faith. As Fernandez sees it, the Faith interferes with the lifestyle of heretics and sinners, but the duty of any bishop is to counsel homosexuals and heretics to change their wayward life and return to the Faith as passed on through the centuries without change.
He says, “The crisis of modernity, which is the hallmark of this epochal change, has thus contributed to the emergence of a new culture that has come into competition with the traditional structures. Here he appears to suggest that “traditional structures” should not interfere with today’s “new culture” – a culture that he “dignifies.”
“The transmission of the faith,” he says, “has its ultimate foundation in God’s initiative, who… entrusted the Apostles the task of proclaiming the Gospel.” But what gospel is he speaking of? Certainly not the unchanging Gospel of the ages!
DDF Prefect Wars Against Family Values
Fernandez also says in his document:
“The role of the family” is “the first and most essential place for the transmission of the faith,” but what family is he speaking of? Fernandez is known for warring against family values by his fanatical LGBTQ advocacy. He has spoken of the need to embrace and encourage LGBTQ “families.” He obviously is speaking of these families. The dicastery says that it is necessary to rediscover “the importance of the community in welcoming and accompanying new members of the faithful,” but it appears that Fernandez is speaking of the LGBTQ community that today’s Vatican says should be “accompanied.”
The document adds that Catechesis and the celebration of the sacraments “foster active participation in community life (as proposed by the current synodal journey),” but the present synodal journey has nothing to do with the Faith or the Gospel, nor does the Church concern itself with community life. Traditionally speaking, the Church concerns itself only with the spread of the One True Faith and the conversion of sinners to the Faith.
The Authentic Transmission of the Faith
The authentic transmission of the Faith consists in passing on Catholic Tradition without change. (Mt. 28:18-20). It is the pure waters of Tradition that attract outsiders to the Faith, which is what Benedict XVI meant in a 2007 homily when he said that “the most authentic force of the evangelizing mission of the community of the Lord’s disciples remains the power of attraction.” He meant that the Traditional Latin Liturgy is what attracts people to God, not the new enculturated one that he as a cardinal sharply criticized.
The authentic transmission of the Faith through the centuries has been the big gripe of heretics. This was the complaint of Luther and the “reformers” as it was also that of rebellious clergy at Vatican II. Unfortunately, this is also the gripe of Cardinal Victor Fernandez and his pontifical lords.
Ecclesial Enculturation
The document includes a passage on ecclesial enculturation, which states,
“The inculturation of the faith constitutes a necessary step in its transmission, since the Gospel message must be made understandable to people who share [various] values.”
So the Traditional Liturgy and teachings were not understandable? What is not understandable is the enculturation of the Church. To inculturate the Faith is to pollute and secularize the Faith, which ruins the transmission thereof. Secularizing the Faith makes it unattractive and ineffective. The document caters to cultural sensibilities to encourage worldly values and to pull people away from the Faith. As Christ repeatedly taught, we cannot be of the world and be of the Faith.
Fernandez adds in his document:
“Where the faith touches the cultural roots and expressions of a people, its transmission truly becomes easier and more fruitful.”
Not so. The enculturating changes of our time have been fruitless and have caused the wide body of the Church to apostatize. We now have hordes of misguided homosexuals prancing down the road to perdition, thanks to the efforts of liberal clergy to ‘touch the cultural roots and expressions of these people.’ This is why Cardinal Fernandez is widely known as “Tucho” because he is into human encounter and touching. He has written filthy sex-oriented books that attempt to make a religion out of sex.
Fernandez Says the Church is not Interested in His Document
A week after publishing his Venite ad Me document, Fernandez commented that neither progressives nor conservatives are interested in the document. By saying this it appears that he is attempting to demoralize people about the transmission of the Faith, which is the very subject of the document.
The cardinal has said that the conservative transmission of the Faith (i.e. doctrine, tradition, sexual morality) detracts from the proclamation of Jesus Christ and places the personal experience of faith to a secondary level. This comes off as saying that we don’t need doctrine and tradition to know Christ and that we can have personal relation with Jesus without that. This is what Protestants preach, but they are wrong. Jesus only allows a personal relationship to those who keep his commandments and ordinances. “If you love me keep my commandments.’ (John 14:15)
The document highlights the failings of diocesan evangelization methods, i.e. traditional methods. Fernandez says that progressivists are not interested in his document, but it appears that he is just feigning lack of regard for Protestant ways to cover up his own Protestantism.
The document says:
“The invitation to faith risks becoming disembodied, detached from concrete life (sinful living), or tied to ideologies promoted by vocal minorities. Fernandez sees “vocal minorities” as the tradition-minded Catholics he accuses of constructing their own “do-it-yourself” faith shaped by selfish tastes. But not so. Their fervent aspiration to universally restore the Traditional Latin Mass is guided by God, the Holy Spirit. This is God’s Will, which Fernandez dishonors.
Fernandez also says:
“It seems entirely natural that believers should embark on a renewed period of proclaiming the Gospel,” but a renewal of what gospel? “Christian communities are strongly called to promote — in season and out of season — a renewal of the proclamation,” but what proclamation is he speaking of?
By “a renewed period of proclaiming the Gospel” Fernandez is speaking of the fake renewal that grew out of Vatican II – a renewal that embraces schismatics and heretics. Fernandez brings a new gospel, which he feels should be promoted “in season and out of season.”
Why hear him?
