Will the Vatican Ban the Apparitions of Akita?

In a Vatican statement issued on August 2, DDF prefect Cardinal Victor Fernadez said that the Puerto Rican missionary Elenita de Jesus "is not the Virgin Mary." What’s the big disclosure? Elenita never called herself the Virgin Mary.
Fernandez' claim is true and the claim apparently was made to give credibility to the Vatican's new norms for evaluating apparitions because the DDF plan is to denounce the authentic Marian apparitions of our time. Fernandez has made it clear that any revelation that speaks of God's justice or that challenges the hierarchy will not receive approval.
Rome Keeping an Eye on Akita
Already, the Vatican is set to reevaluate the apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Akita, Japan, which warn of God’s impending punishment. This is perfidious. The Akita apparitions already received official recognition from the Church. On April 22, 1984, Bishop John Shojiro Ito of Niigata, Japan, after a thorough investigation, declared the events at Akita to be of supernatural origin and approved them as genuine. In 1988, CDF Prefect Cardinal Ratzinger (later Benedict XVI) rubber stamped the decision, which sealed it forever.
On October 13, 1973, the Virgin Mary delivered the following message through Sister Agnes Sasagawa of Akita.
“As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son.
“The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres… the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.
“The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sorrow. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them.”
It is widely held that the Vatican plans to reverse the Akita decision on the grounds that Akita exposes the errant direction of today's clergy and warns of a great Chastisement that is about to descend on humanity.
Given that, we might understand that other apparitions like Fatima, Bayside, and Garabandal could be scheduled for the chopping block. However, Catholics should comfort themselves in knowing that Cardinal Fernandez and his Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) do not represent the Catholic Church and therefore do not warrant respect. Fernandez uses his position to promote homosexuality and transgenderism, which nullifies him and his work.
