Was POTUS 45 Prefigured in the Bible?

David Martin | The Daily Knight

With the continuous barrage of media attacks President Trump has endured since his defamatory ouster via election fraud in 2020, it’s almost bewildering that he has had the resilience to get back on the road and persevere in his mission for America. Most would have dropped out long ago whereas Trump has pressed on against all odds to the end that he is now the GOP frontrunner against Biden in the 2024 presidential election. It seems transcendent, as if the hand of the Almighty has providentially guided him in this direction.

Some might argue that Trump is not a religious figure but a mere secular and one with a few moral stains on his record. True, Trump is not a Catholic or theologian, and certainly not a saint, but he nonetheless has been a great support and help for the religious sector of America, which he calls the “bedrock” of our nation. It was Trump who benevolently encouraged the faithful to stand up against the socialist deep state and insist that the churches remain open during the Covid lockdowns, which is more than we can say for the American bishops or Pope Francis. Trump is something of a Gentile but one who heartfully stands with the people of God.

Cyrus the Great

It calls to mind Cyrus the Great who was a towering figure of world history who is credited with founding the first empire, who was the first man ever to be called "Great," and who delivered the Jews from Babylonian captivity in 539 BC, yet he himself was a Gentile and not a member of the Jewish religion.

Moreover, he benevolently encouraged over 40,000 Jews to return to their Jewish homeland and he funded the restoration and rebuilding of the Jewish temple. He is seen as a hero who revived the cause of God's people and is even praised by God Himself in the Old Testament books, yet he was something of a worldling who had multi-wives.

Cyrus Favored by God

In the Book of Isaias, God speaks of Cyrus the Great to come. "Thus saith the Lord to my anointed Cyrus, whose right hand I have taken hold of, to subdue nations before his face, and to turn the backs of kings, and to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut. I will go before thee, and will humble the great ones of the earth ... For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have made a likeness of thee, and thou hast not known me... I have raised him up to justice, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and let go my captives, not for ransom, nor for presents, saith the Lord the God of hosts." (Isaias 45: 1,2,4,13)

Bear in mind that while the Old Testament prophecies often refer to events yet to occur in the Old Testament, they sometimes also refer to events to come in the latter days of Christendom. For example, the prophet Joel says, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy…. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood: before the great and dreadful day of the Lord doth come." (Joel 2: 28,31)

The Apostle Peter explains that this verse from Joel was fulfilled with the outpouring of the Holy Ghost on Pentecost (Acts 2:16-21), but at the same time it also referenced the last days before Christ’s Second Coming when God will again pour out His Spirit through a Great Illumination at which time “the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed.” (Isaias 24: 23) This event has yet to occur.

A Latter Day Cyrus

Similarly, Isaias prophesied the noble deeds of Cyrus the Great, which were fulfilled in 539 BC, but this prophecy also seems to reference a Cyrus figure of the last times, which we might understand to be President Donald Trump.

For he too is a quasi-Gentile who has had multi-wives. And while Trump is not a member of the One True Apostolic Church, he nonetheless is a towering world figure whom God has raised up to deliver America from the captivity of a Babylonian New World Order. For he has rebuked and stood against the U.N. for its attempts to undermine U.S. sovereignty and globalize America. During his tenure he built up our military, guarded our borders, created 5.3 million new jobs and brought American commerce abroad back home.

In every which way Trump has defended the life and liberty of our predominately Christian nation and has stood by the Christian sector, which today is being oppressed by political pharaohs who lord it over them.

Especially, Trump has defended the unborn like no other president of U.S. history, being the first president ever to participate in the annual March for Life, and during his administration he completely cut tax-funding for any groups abroad that promote or provide abortion. Not to mention that he defended the cause of religious liberty like no other president of U.S. history.

Is it any wonder that a man of his stature might make the Scriptures? In a similar way that the Old Testament Cyrus delivered the Jews from Babylonian captivity and revived the cause of God’s people, it appears that a latter-day Cyrus has likewise risen up to revive the cause of the faithful and true.

Providential Marvels

That the Cyrus prophesied in Isaias could be a figure of President Trump shouldn’t seem peculiar, for even the number of the chapter hints that it could be him. For it is the 45th chapter of Isaias. POTUS 45 anyone?

Some might try to debunk this on the grounds that Trump in the future would be known as POTUS 47, but in actuality he will remain POTUS 45 for the simple reason that there never was a POTUS 46. People seem to have forgotten that Biden heisted the Oval Office through election fraud aided most especially by the ‘not-so-smart’ voting machines that flipped millions of Trump votes over to Biden.

The hand of providence certainly suggests that Trump was meant to be the illustrious leader of America. For instance, on June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the “Stars and Stripes” as the official American flag, whereupon June 14 from thence would be recognized as “Flag Day.”

June 14 also happens to be Donald Trump’s birthday; he was born June 14, 1946. When we add the month and day of his birth (6 + 14) it comes out to 20 and when we add the numbers of the year (1-9-4-6) it also comes out to 20, for a total of 2020—the historic election year when the greatest election fraud of history was perpetrated.

POTUS 45’s name also seems providential since his mission is to “trump” the deep-state and “drain the swamp” in Washington. Even the name given to our nation’s Capital seemed to providentially foreshadow that a president of the future would spearhead this cause of “washing” the “town” so that it could be rededicated to the Constitution. Part-two of Trump’s plan to clean house appears to be mushrooming despite the frantic attempts of his enemies to halt him. As with the Cyrus of old, it appears that God is also with this latter-day Cyrus.

A Moment of Decision

2024 is a pivotal year for America and Tuesday, November 5, will be the pivotal moment of that year. God is giving America this final chance to choose between good and evil, between America and the New World Order. “He hath set water and fire before thee: stretch forth thy hand to which thou wilt. Before man is life and death, good and evil, that which he shall choose shall be given him.” (Ecc. 15:19)

God indeed will give us what we choose, be it Trump and the recovering of our nation or Biden and the scourging of our nation through its enslavement under a one-world tyranny. Trump politically is the last hope for America, it is a special grace extended to us from the Most High.

Let us not allow this grace to pass us by.
