To The President: National Reparation for Ingratitude is Needed to Keep America Free

Mr. President:

At the height of the Civil War in March 1863, President Abraham Lincoln addressed the nation on how ingratitude for God’s bounty had brought upon it the scourge of revolution and war. With civil war now looming on the horizon, you too are called to address the nation on the sin of ingratitude that is again bringing upon us the scourge of civil war. Your intervention could make all the difference in averting a national nightmare. The American people need a good lecture on how ingratitude for the gift of America is strengthening the enemy plan to bring down America.

This ingratitude is evident not only by the incessant bad-mouthing of America that we hear daily but by all the foul, unAmerican activity that has reduced this country to a land of pagans. In particular, the sins of homosexuality and abortion are crying to Heaven for vengeance and are bringing the hand of divine justice upon us. Sin is what charges the devil’s battery and the sins of this nation are fueling his power to take this country down. He now has at his disposal an immense army of globalists, communists, socialists, and jihads that are ready to make their move upon us.  

People need to be alerted to this. Many are dismissing the recent proclamation of Russia and China to back Venezuela’s red aggression against the U.S., nor have people considered Russia’s latest move to send troops and advanced military equipment to Venezuela. Not to mention that Iran has now joined this alliance against America. The red enemy is fast encroaching upon our country and left to ourselves there is no way out.

But God has the devil on a leash. God is first giving you the chance to counsel the nation that divine mercy and protection will be ours if we as a nation confess our ingratitude and amend our course. God is calling on you to double down on President Lincoln’s Proclamation of March 30, 1863, when he said:

“We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!”

Lincoln’s plan worked. The war ceased, the slaves were emancipated, and America was set free to continue again as a highly prosperous nation. If Lincoln’s plan worked in his time it will certainly work for us today.

His words certainly hit home. Never in history was there a nation so noble, so blessed, so abundantly endowed as this great nation of America. America was truly the Solomon among the nations, a glorious land dripping with prosperity, a nation that the other countries from afar could look to for guidance, protection, and help. Her spirit covered the earth and dispelled the darkness while her people basked in her splendor. At the sight of her radiant majesty, the Soviet beast was forced to remain lurking in the obscurity while America prospered fabulously in the light.

But like Solomon, America grew fat and spoiled and forgot the cause of her bounty. Like Eve, she lent her ears to the red serpent and was seduced by its fake-promises of peace and security to the end that America has now been stripped of her former glory. America the once proud eagle has been plucked by Satan. Intoxicated with unbroken success we too have forgotten God and have failed to recognize the lesson of history that when the morals of a country start to go down into darkness that country will soon be ended.

Here is where a great leader can make the difference, especially when the better part of America will happily hear his words and pass on what he says. Under your direction patriot America must atone for its ingratitude and reform its steps if the doors of peace are to remain open to us.

You indeed were elected to lead the way in the great American revival, but this revival must be one of restoring allegiance to the Biblical principles upon which this nation was founded. Many today have revolted from these principles as they now mock America with their present lifestyles.

For homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia, rock music, witchcraft, drugs, and rebellion against moral authority represent everything that America is not while honesty, integrity, faith, courage, and ‘mom’s apple pie and the girl next door’ represent everything that America was before the flag burners arrived.

The bottom line: With God we can do all things but without God we are finished as a nation. This is certainly no time to be “too proud to pray to the God that made us” but is rather the time to humble ourselves and give thanks because gratitude to the Eternal King is what will secure his guidance and protection so that we may return to being a Great Nation Under God.
