Pope Leo on Thursday decried political leaders who invoke religious beliefs to justify nationalist policies, saying that this is “blasphemy.” Does this not ring of hypocrisy?
He says we shouldn't invoke religion to promote political interests, yet he invokes the name of God to push climate action, environmentalism, illegal immigration, LGBT inclusivity, synodality, one-world unity, and other small-minded political issues that offend God and tear down humanity.
In his talk, Leo referred to the blessing of nationalism as “violence,” but who ever said that nationalism was a form of violence? Who in their right mind could think that invoking God for the protection and prosperity of our land is blasphemy? God gave us America, which means we should stand by her as patriots. Tearing down a Christian nation through the above political "isms" is what is violent, whereas invoking the name of God to defend the peace and strength of nations is noble.
If there is one thing that has corrupted America, it is by opening our ears all the communist indoctrination about open borders and LGBTQ inclusion—the same indoctrination that we hear spewing forth from the Vatican today.
Leo said:
“Unfortunately, it has become increasingly common to drag the language of faith into political battles, to bless nationalism and to justify violence and armed struggle in the name of religion.”
Using God’s Name In Vain
If it is blasphemous to drag the name of God into global politics, how much more blasphemous is it to drag his name into today’s modernist protest against Tradition? In the name of God, clergy since Vatican II have been barking against Christ and his Church, demanding change, synodality, and a new religion. The hierarchy has forgotten the Holy Commandment: "Thou Shalt Not Take The Name of the Lord Thy God in Vain.”
If Leo was truly sincere, he would say something like:
“Unfortunately, it has become increasingly common to use the name of God to rebel Catholic tradition. We today have become smug and ungrateful and have forgotten God in favor of our new humanistic church of man. Like Pharisees we have used God’s name to advance this protest against His Majesty.”
Leo said:
“There is a growing tendency among political and military leaders to shirk responsibility.”
Leo needs to look to himself. He has a responsibility to clean house by expelling homosexuals, globalists, and modernists who incessantly use God’s name to destroy his Church and pollute souls. And too, he owes the Mother of God a public apology for stripping her of her glorious titles of Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of All Grace. Where is the responsibility?
Concerning our so-called shirk of responsibility, Leo said:
“This marks an unprecedented and destructive betrayal of the legal and philosophical principles of humanism that underlie and safeguard every civilization.”
Since when does humanism underlie and safeguard a civilization? It is Christianity that safeguards a civilization, whereas humanism corrupts civilization since it gives credit to man and not to God. The mission of the Church is to convert countries from pagan and humanistic ways that they may become civilized, i.e. non-violent.
Though Pope Leo doesn’t explicitly mention President Trump in his speech, we hear little digs and insinuations that are reminiscent of the many cuts he has made against Trump and his immigration policy. Leo is particularly critical of Trump for guarding our borders and deporting those who breach them.
Illegal Immigration is Criminal
Smuggling crime into our country through illegal immigration is criminal, yet Leo criticizes Trump for locking our borders to this. Socialists have smuggled hundreds of thousands of children into our country for trafficking purposes, which Trump has now blocked, yet he is mauled for this. Tens of thousands of these smuggled children have now been located and are being helped by the Trump team, yet we don't hear a squeak of thanks coming from the Vatican.
Let us pray that Leo and the Vatican can learn to appreciate true patriotic leaders who invoke the name of God to squelch Communism. After all, this is what the Virgin at Fatima asked us to do so let us do that and not use the name of God to bless Marxist revolution.
