Pope Leo Calls Alleged Pedophile a ‘Prophet’

Popes Francis and Leo have praised Don Lorenzo Milani as a model for priests to look to

Pope Leo XIV has openly expressed his support for a deceased cleric whom many hold to be an iconic figure of the Catholic Church. On October 11, Leo spoke to thousands of pilgrims from Tuscany gathered in St. Peter’s Square about the different “forms of ecclesial presence” in the Church. 1

Among other things he said:

"Don Lorenzo Milani, prophet of the Tuscan and Italian Church, whom Pope Francis defined as 'a witness and interpreter of social and economic transformation had as his motto ‘I care,’ that is, ‘It matters to me, I am interested, it is close to my heart.'”

In other words, flowing with the spirit of the age mattered to Milani. This is what he held ‘close to his heart.’ While Don Lorenzo Milani is seen as a ’Don Bosco’ figure who loved the youth he in reality was quite the opposite. He denounced private property as a form of theft and pushed the Marxist idea of “distribution of wealth,” which was a scandal to the youth. Not to mention that he abused the youth.

Sexual Abuse

During his tenure, Francis said Don Lorenzo Milani (1923-1967) should be upheld as a model for a ‘church that cares,’ but the problem is that Milani had a history of seducing young boys in bed. According to author Chris Jackson, Milani was no prophet but “was a priest who wrote letters so vile that even his admirers blush to cite them.”

And while Milani has a reputation of having loved the poor, his “love” served to cover his sexual predation. In an attempt to promote Don Lorenzo Milani, his own devotees quote him as saying:

"If there is a danger for my soul, it is certainly not that I have loved too little, but that I have loved too much – meaning even to the point of taking them to bed. And then, who will ever be able to love boys to the bone without, in the end, putting it up their backside?” 

This is the man Leo XIV calls a prophet and who Francis called a role model for priests. A priest who openly fantasized about sexual acts with boys is now upheld as a model for the clergy to imitate.

According to Chris Jackson, Milani’s letters “are evidence of a heart that lusted after the very souls he was ordained to protect.” That Rome could read them with approval testifies to the diabolical depths to which the Catholic hierarchy has fallen.

We can be sure that all the popes prior to Francis stand against Milani for what he did to the young, so why did Francis not disavow him? And what about Leo? Using the Chair of Peter to heap praise on an LGBTQ offender serves to ‘canonize’ homosexuality before the Church.

Seduction is Not Love

It suffices to say that seducing the vulnerable and poor is not a form of loving the poor. How often we see pro-homosexual clerics painting themselves up as stewards of love and mercy just to cover their LGBTQ conduct. What is worse is that Francis and Leo have appointed so many of these sex offenders to key and influential positions of the Church so they can serve as “models” for the Church.

A noted mark of homosexuals is that they see their LGBTQ conduct as love, but their “love” is inspired by the demonic forces that enshroud and confuse their minds so that they can’t discern between love and hate, right and wrong. Under this dark influence they see their vice as a virtue. What Christ told the Pharisees applies:

“Now you Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter; but your inside is full of rapine and iniquity.” (St. Luke 11:39)

Some say that Pope Leo means well and is simply naïve about Fr. Milani but this is hardly reconcilable with truth. Leo knows full well that offenders like Cardinals Cupich and Fernandez and Fr. James Martin are avidly pushing homosexuality in the Church yet he goes out of his way to promote them, so the idea of Leo being naïve holds no water.

Milani’s Marxism

We cannot conclude this discourse without mentioning that Don Lorenzo Milani was a Marxist sympathizer. His political activism became his creed. Like all communists, he saw the ownership of private property as theft and praised class struggle as the true path of redemption (Communists always say that Jesus was a Communist). In his writings and sermons, Milani echoed the rhetoric of Lenin that “The poor must fight the rich,” as though envy of the rich was sacred. 2  

Milani was a pacifist who opposed moral authority. He insisted that the children under his care read the daily newspapers to be “woke” about their political surroundings. While this could be effective in encouraging the Church Militant in its fight against God’s enemies who undermine legitimate authority, Milani rather enticed people to rise up against legitimate authority.

This is what social justice is about. The late Marxist and pedophile Cardinal Theodore McCarrick preached “social justice and love of the poor” and he reportedly coached Francis into preaching this before he was made pope. This sort of “justice” has no connection with the Bible.

True justice is the virtue of being just before God, but throughout the Bible justice also signifies divine justice or divine wrath as we saw unleashed upon the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah.  

The socialists have inverted this meaning to signify man’s vengeance or retaliation against God. It is the advocates of social justice that have incited this rebellion throughout the Church since Vatican II. What we are witnessing today is the Leninist clenched fist being applied in an ecclesial context. This is what the communists call social justice.

Our Lady of Fatima Warned Us

The Blessed Virgin of Fatima warned that without the daily Rosary and the Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart, the errors of Communism would spread throughout the Church and into the Vatican. All of these errors are grounded in the Leninist ideology that man raise the clenched fist against the authority of the Church. This anti-Church revolution is the hallmark of the new church of man that was set in motion at Vatican II, so Catholics are urged to repair for this “revolt” that St. Paul said would come shortly before the “Day of the Lord” (2 Thess. 2:3).
