An amazing discovery reveals an extraordinary marvel about the miraculous image of Our Lady of Guadalupe that the Virgin Mary left on St. Juan Diego’s tilma during her apparition to him on December 12, 1531. The number of stars that appeared on her mantle corresponds to the number of popes that would remain following the pope of that time [Clement VII] up to Benedict XVI. The image contains 46 stars on her mantle which seemingly reference the remaining 46 popes of the Catholic Church with Benedict XVI being the last of these popes.

Italian astronomer Alessandro Massano recently discovered this symbolic list of popes elected from 1534 to 2005, with the first of these being Paul III who was elected on October 13, 1534 (soon after the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe) and the last being Pope Benedict XVI. Benedict is pope number 46.

To say that Benedict XVI was the last of the true popes is to say that his successors were illegitimate, which is credible when we consider that two highly credible mystics of the Church—the seer Melanie Calvat of La Salette and Marie-Julie Jahenny—both prophesied two wayward popes that would mislead the Church in the latter end. Our Lady at La Salette spoke of “two worm ridden popes” to come while Julie Jahenny spoke of “two consecutive popes” that would corrupt the Church. We can only understand these to be Francis and Leo XIV since no corrupt pope had reigned from the time of Paul III to Benedict XVI. After Benedict XVI, no pope has endeavored to maintain the tradition of the Catholic Faith.

This coincides with the prophecy of Our Lady at Garabandal who told the principal seer of Garabandal, Conchita Gonzalez, that before the tribulations there remained only four popes after John XXIII: Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI.

Today’s Vatican Testifies to Heaven’s Prophecies

The present state of the papacy testifies to the truth of the above prophecies for upon the death of Benedict XVI the papacy took a historic nosedive into error. Francis dreamed up a new religion and the floodgates of error now continue to inundate the Church under Leo XIV.

This isn’t to imply that the new order of heresy began with Francis since we know that the onslaught of modernism was set in motion at Vatican II. However, the popes from Paul VI to Benedict XVI were not to blame because these errors were pushed on them by their enemies, the same who had severely persecuted them. And while these popes made some slight, inadvertent mistakes they nonetheless were men of charity and sound doctrine, whereas the last two popes preach error and have driven the Church shipwreck through their own initiative. The primary fault of Francis and Leo is that they have dismissed the everlasting ordinance of tradition and have bowed to U.N. globalism.

Since the election of Leo, he hasn’t ceased to abet U.N. globalists in their push for climate action, environmentalism, immigration, inclusivity, synodality, one-world unity, and other small-minded political issues that have nothing to do with religion and the salvation of souls.

Moreover, he has shown no willingness to expel infamous clergy like Cardinal Cupich and Fr. James Martin who promote LGBTQ living, but he rather dignifies their work as did Francis.

Worse yet, Leo on the weekend of September 6-7 invited 1200 LGBTQ activists to break through the Holy Door and stampede the Vatican for the glorification of their cause. This unprecedented sacrilege sent the signal across the world that Leo XIV approves and promotes homosexuality.

The Stars on Her Mantle Accentuate the Prophets

Many prophets have pointed to the fallen papacy of our time and the 46 stars on the mantle of Our Lady of Guadalupe certainly accentuate what the prophets have said. In Holy Scripture stars are often a reference to the princes of the Church, i.e. the bishops and popes. For instance, in the twelfth chapter of the Apocalypse it speaks of how the devil with his tail “drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth” (Apoc. 12:4), which is a reference to the bishops of the last times that would fall from grace under Satan’s pull. This fall was prefigured by the bad angels that were cast out of Heaven for their pride and disobedience (Genesis 12:9).

Some Interesting Points about Our Lady of Guadalupe

An interesting point about the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe is that when the Virgin Mary first appeared to Juan Diego on December 9, 1531, this occurred exactly ten years after Hernán Cortez had conquered the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan in 1521. This prefigured how the Virgin of Guadalupe would spiritually conquer the Aztecs by dispelling their sorcery through their conversion that would occur over the next ten years. Over ten million Aztecs were converted to the Catholic Faith through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Initially, Juan Diego’s bishop, Fray Juan de Zumárraga, was skeptical about the apparition but on the tenth of December he requested that Juan Diego bring him some sign of its authenticity. On the 12th of December the Blessed Virgin told Juan Diego that she would provide such a sign for the bishop. She told him to go to the hill of Tepeyac and gather the flowers he would find there, which he did.

He gathered up Castilian roses, a flower that wasn't native to the area and that shouldn't have been blooming in December even if it had been native to the area. Our Lady arranged the flowers in the "tilma" that Diego had been wearing, and he then ran with it to the Archbishop.

Upon meeting Zumárraga, he opened up his tilma to reveal the miraculous roses, but as he did the archbishop and his men saw that the miraculous image of Our Lady of Guadalupe had appeared on the tilma, with the 46 stars on her mantle. What is even more astounding is that the stars she wore were the constellation of stars in the sky that day!

The brightest papal star of Heaven, Peter the Roman, will one day soon occupy the Throne of Peter when God sends him to restore the Church and usher in the Second Coming of Christ. For the first time in years the jewels of Catholic Tradition will again be instilled in the hearts of men throughout the world so that many will return or be converted to the One True Faith Under Peter.
