American Summer - Putting COVID-19 and Marxist Riots in the Blinder
Lake Lanier, Georgai (Eater Atlanta)
It is June 6th, 76 years since D-Day, the weather is great, and hard-working Americans are enjoying the weekend. COVID-19 and inner-city riots by Antifa are a small concern to Americans.
America is back to work, period. Over 2.5 million jobs were added in May, months ahead of the projected August, as the majority of Americans move beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the past three months, Americans have fought coronavirus, the economic conditions created by COVID-19, and the rapid increase of demand as businesses rebuilt operations in May. Simply put, Americans are ready for the summer and the opportunity to enjoy the sun, ice cold beer, and recreation.
You can count me in on enjoying the sun, ice cold beer, and recreation. This afternoon, my family and I enjoyed Lake Lanier outside of Atlanta. All I saw was high spirits, as White, Black, Latino, and Asian families were enjoying the beautiful weather and refreshing water. There was no racial division.
According to ABC, CNN, and MSNBC, American's are fixated on financial inequality, police brutality, and systemic racism. Although downtown Atlanta looks different, here at Lake Lanier, the sentiment is far from the mainstream narrative.
Liberal politicians tried to make the COVID-19 larger than it was, in order to erode the Trump economy. As far as the riots go, Antifa had the insurrection planed for months, in order to affect the upcoming general election in November. George Floyd was the spark, and innocent victim, that they needed to push their political game.
Good, God fearing and law abiding Americans, are more concerned with their families, communities, faith, and work than the campaign that liberals have initiated to help divide America. Surely, the last two months have been trying; men and women have either been furloughed or thankful for remaining employed.
As an operations manager in manufacturing, I have a good pulse on the manufacturing economy. Demand is picking up, vendors are overwhelmed, manufactures are adding shifts, and truck drivers are difficult to find. The stock market correctly reflects this comeback. American workers have been fighting these issues for the past couple of weeks, and they are ready for a relaxing weekend by the water.
Do us a favor ABC, CNN, and MSNBC, give us a break and stop trying to divide American's against eachother. In reality, we all have more important things to worry about, like defending our families against the virus, keeping them fed, and bringing them to Mass on Sundays.
In Christ Crucified and the Most Victorious Heart of Jesus.
