What is Pope Leo’s Real Position on LGBTQ?

Homosexuality is a sinful offense that all the popes of history including John Paul II and Benedict XVI refused to tolerate. Francis was the first ‘pope’ of history that not only dignified but promoted LGBT.
Is Leo XIV following suit?
Upon the death of Pope Francis in April, many had hoped for a pope that would clean house and turn back the clock – a pope that would cancel Francis’ heretical documents like Laudato Si, a pope that would cancel his infamous LGBT appointments, a pope who would excommunicate clerical LGBT advocates like Cardinal Robert McElroy and Fr. James Martin. And whereas Leo may be planning to take such action, it doesn’t look that way.
Instead, he gave a high-profile private audience to LGBT advocate Fr. James Martin on September 1, and as of yet nothing has surfaced in the news that Leo admonished him about his lewd LGBT promotion in the Church, which is what Fr. James lives for. Leo knows it and we all know it. And while Martin uses fancy high-sounding verbiage to make his rot look like learning, his teaching remains rot.
Following his private audience with the pope, Martin told the press that the meeting lasted a half-hour and that Leo had blessed his cause. Martin came away very encouraged about the meeting.
“It was very consoling and encouraging,” he told Reuters. “I heard the same message from Pope Leo that I heard from Pope Francis about welcoming LGBTQ people.”
Martin also said:
“He [Leo] wants everyone in the Church to feel welcome. His approach to LGBTQ Catholics is a continuation of Pope Francis’ legacy.”
Bear in mind that Martin’s words have been published throughout the Church and the world. The report about the meeting has gone viral, which means Leo is well aware of it, so if Martin is lying about the meeting Leo needs to repudiate this immediately lest he go on record as being an LGBT advocate.
As of yet, nothing has emerged in the press that Leo admonished Martin about his shameful cause, so unless we learn that Leo corrected him and threatened to close down his LGBT “ministry,” we can only infer that he approves of homosexual living.
Oversight and Neglect
Oversight and neglect indeed have been an issue with Pope Leo, not only with respect to LGBT predators, but to other issues as well. It's not so much what he does but what he doesn't do. Action is needed on his part and action hopefully will be taken. Innocent and faithful bishops were cancelled by Francis while LGBT predators were installed by him, two of which actions were executed through Leo before his election, so these moves need to be reversed.
In particular, Bishop Strickland, the previous ordinary of the Tyler Texas Diocese, needs to be exonerated and given an apology before the Church since he was unjustly removed from his diocese through the instrumentality of Leo while a cardinal. Strickland is a very gentle and pastoral figure for the Church, a model bishop, so his removal from the Tyler Diocese can only be seen as a brutal act of persecution.
Similar story with former papal nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, who said the truth about the tragic state of affairs in the Vatican. Vigano said that Francis was an LGBT predator. Who can deny it? LGBT is what is spreading all the sexual abuse throughout the Church and Francis appointed a great many homosexual cardinals to high and influential positions in the Church, which has only enhanced the abuse problem. Vigano said the truth and he was “excommunicated” for it. For obvious reasons the excommunication was null. LGBTQ, and not the truth, is what expels a prelate from the Church.
A Major Problem on our Hands
We indeed have major problem on our hands if Fr. James Martin is telling the truth about his meeting with Leo. "Openness and "embrace“ of gays means the approval of LGBT living.
Martin, a radical-left Jesuit authored a book in 2017 that addressed how Catholic leaders should engage with the gay community. He was appointed as a consultant to the Vatican’s Secretariat for Communication, and he presently leads an online news site dedicated to LGBT Catholics. Part of his “ministry” is to promote Fiducia Supplicans, the infamous Vatican 2023 declaration authorizing the priestly blessing of homosexual couples.
In May, Leo went on record as endorsing Fiducia Supplicans. The declaration was actually made by Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández who heads the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, but Leo oversaw this. Leo himself said the declaration will continue.
Fernandez said:
“The Declaration will remain… Fiducia will absolutely not fall into oblivion.”
Not “revised.”
Not “reconsidered.”
Just reaffirmed, defended, and permanently installed. To date, Leo hasn’t indicated that he plans to cancel Fiducia Supplicans. Some had expressed hopes that he might at least put a new spin on it, a more decent spin, but Leo never said this.
What are we to make of all this?
