False Peace Portending to Coming Destruction

During these latter times we’ve seen a stuporous mentality setting in where people more and more are reclining back and saying, "it is peace,” but to no avail. The long awaited era of peace promised at Fatima will not come until a great Chastisement is first set upon the world.

The reason being there is accountability for sin, which isn’t going to evaporate out of our lives. Engaging in false dreams of peace desensitizes us to the horror of sin, which robs us of peace, since the very nature of sin is rebellious and hateful. When people sin mortally they are telling God by their actions, “I hate you, I can’t stand you,” which is not peace but war. They are crucifying Christ.

Unfortunately the world today is doing this more than at any time in history – more than in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah and more than in the time of Hitler. People point fingers at Hitler for killing 6,000,000 Jews but make little account of the fact that the worldwide Holocaust of abortion is killing over 100,000,000 million babies each year. And then they say, “it is peace?”

The Sin in the Church

Warring against God does not bring us peace but divine wrath and when man’s sins reach into the bosom of God’s Church and we see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, it’s time to take cover, not to cry peace. (Mt. 24:15-22)

The fact is that Rome today has become a globalist stronghold to advance worldwide revolution against the Faith. Yes, the Vatican has partnered with U.N. pro-abortion advocates to pledge fidelity to the cause of sparing the planet through population control, and then people repose hope in peace? Can people not see that the world and Church today are at war with God?

Where do today’s clergy and bishops find the room to frolic and proclaim “it is peace” when they have a Church in utter shambles and their flock is treading down the path of perdition? Christ today is being betrayed by his own priests who allow all manner of heresy and profanation to desecrate his Church – profanations like Communion in the hand, ecumenism, modernism, Liberation Theology, the Charismatic Movement, youth ministry, guitar Mass, LGBT Mass, women lectors, Pachamama worship, etc. – and then they cry “peace?”

The Sin of Presumption

At the top of the list is the sin of presumption where we have bishops and priests who pacify the faithful with false promises of salvation and peace, alluring them with the enticement that Jesus’ Sacrifice already won salvation for us. Since when? Our baptism places us on the road to penance that we might work out our salvation “with fear and trembling.” (Phil. 2:12)

And now Pope Francis is promising peace and forgiveness to unrepentant offenders, i.e. apostates, rapists, homosexuals, and has even said that there is no eternal punishment in hell, whereby he augments his offenses and those of the church. And then he preaches peace?

Ezechiel 13

In Ezechiel 13, God speaks to the false teachers of the last times, saying:

“I come against you, saith the Lord God. And my hand shall be upon the [false] prophets that see vain things, and that divine lies…. Because they have deceived my people, saying: Peace, and there is no peace….

“Thus saith the Lord God: Woe to them that sew cushions under every elbow: and make pillows for persons of every age to catch souls: and when they caught the souls of my people, they gave life to their souls.” (8,9,10,18)

That is, the pastors pacify the people about their sins, promising them impunity, and enflaming them with false peace and security, whereby they are caught in seductive lies.

The Virgin at Fatima said that without conversion Russia would spread her errors throughout the world and even into the Church, and this indeed has come to pass. And while there is always hope that the March 25 consecration of Russia-Ukraine could yield its fruits, there is no evidence of this right now nor does it appear to be forthcoming. What we see is widespread heresy and revolution being advanced in the name of peace and mercy.

No Peace Without God

The only path to peace is to first make our peace with God, which cannot happen as long as the world is shaking its fist at God. Peace means loving God, which isn’t possible as long as man is bombing his neighbor and raising up worldwide revolution against God – the very thing Russia is doing right now. And what is strange is that while Russia’s assault on the Ukraine continues to intensify people continue to be taken with Putin's lie that Russia is now a "democratic" and "peace-loving" country.

False Security

For years Russia has been baiting us with this fantasy and building a false peace among us. Russia’s plan has been to lull the West to sleep so that we would be taken unawares when she launched a sudden missile attack. Consider this prophecy of St. Paul concerning the last days.

“For when they shall say, peace and security; then shall sudden destruction come upon them, as the pains upon her that is with child, and they shall not escape.” (1 Thess. 5:3)

Crying peace avails us nothing but abiding in Christ preserves us in peace because peace is a gift from God that is only given when we merit peace. The enemy of peace is sin because sin wars against God who is the source and cause of our peace, so if we ever expect to have peace on earth we need to rid our world of abortion, LGBT living, transgenderism, and other like abominations that are offending God and bringing his heavy hand upon us. The choice is ours.
