Fiducia Supplicans Shows its Architects to be “Servants of Satan” — Archbishop Viganò

Francis' historic December 18 declaration officially allowing the Church to bless homosexual couples has set in motion a holy boomerang that is coming back to him with a holy vengeance. Backlash from bishops throughout the world is pouring into Rome in the wake of Fiducia Supplicans, the Vatican declaration that now sanctions the clerical blessing of homosexual couples. Unfortunately, Francis is remaining rigid and hard-faced in his insistence that the Church bless homosexual relations.
Promoting Evil Under the Appearance of Good
On December 21, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the former papal nuncio to the United States issued a statement wherein he came out and slammed this Vatican blessing of same-sex unions, declaring Francis and his Vatican collaborates to be “servants of Satan and his most zealous allies.” The archbishop begins his statement by pointing out Francis’ promotion of evil under the appearance of good.
“When the devil tries to persuade us to sin, he emphasizes the supposed good of the evil action he wants us to do, while overshadowing the aspects that are necessarily contrary to God’s commandments. He does not say to us: Sin and offend the Lord who died for you on the Cross, because he knows that a normal person does not want evil in itself, but that he usually does evil under the appearance of good....
He continues:
“The delirious Declaration Fiducia Supplicans, recently published by the parody of the former Holy Office renamed the Dicastery, definitively pierces the veil of hypocrisy and deception of the Bergoglio Hierarchy, showing these false shepherds for what they really are: servants of Satan and his most zealous allies, beginning with the usurper who sits – an abomination of desolation – on the Throne of Peter. The very incipit of the document sounds, like all those issued by Bergoglio, mocking and deceptive: because trust in God’s forgiveness without repentance is called the presumption of salvation without merit and is a sin against the Holy Spirit....
“I exhort all those who have been awarded the dignity of Cardinal, my brothers in the Episcopate, priests, clerics and faithful to oppose most firmly this mad race towards the abyss to which a sect of renegade apostates would like to force us. I implore the Bishops and Ministers of God – by the Most Holy Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ – not only to raise their voices to defend the immutable teaching of the Church and to condemn deviations and heresies, under whatever appearance they may appear; but also to warn the faithful and prevent these sacrilegious blessings in their Dioceses. The Lord will judge us on the basis of His holy Law, and not on the pharisaic seductions of those who serve the Enemy.”
Former CDF prefect Cardinal Gerhard Mueller has come out and told Francis that blessing homosexual couples is impossible, declaring his declaration to be “blasphemy” and “self-contradictory.” He said that to accept these unions is to say they are not contrary to God’s Law.
The African nation of Zambia has also voiced its rejection of LGBT blessings in that country. In a December 20 text, the country’s episcopal conference stated that the blessing of same-sex unions will be forbidden and are “not for implementation in Zambia.”
The Episcopal Conference of Malawi also issued a directive on December 18 forbidding the blessing of same-sex unions in the wake of Francis' declaration.
The Polish bishops have likewise voiced their denunciation of Fiducia Supplicans, stating that same sex relationships “cannot receive a blessing.”
And now the Ukrainian Roman bishops have come out and criticized ‘blessings’ for homosexual couples, insisting they will not do them. “If a person comes to us who has a problem and is looking for a solution in accordance with the will of God, then he or she will certainly receive a blessing, but not as a couple living in concubinage,” said Bishop Vitaliy Kryvytskyi of Kyiv–Zhytomyr.
Byzantine Patriarch Sviatoslav Shevchuk who oversees the Ukranian Byzantine Catholic Church has also gone on record as denouncing Pope Francis' call to bless homosexual couples, saying it has no legal status in UGCC.
Sin Cannot be Blessed
In a December 19 statement, Swiss bishop Marian Eleganti made it clear: “A sinful practice and union cannot be blessed.”
Archbishop Tomasz Bernard Peta of the Archdiocese of Saint Mary in Astana, Kazakhstan, along with Saint Mary’s Auxiliary Bishop Athanasius Schneider, have banned priests in the archdiocese from accepting or allowing any forms of “blessings” for “irregular” or homosexual couples.
“We exhort and prohibit priests and the faithful of the Archdiocese of Saint Mary in Astana from accepting or performing any form of blessing whatsoever of couples in an irregular situation and same-sex couples,” they wrote in a statement released December 19.
“Such a blessing, directly and seriously contradicts Divine Revelation and the uninterrupted, bi-millennial doctrine and practice of the Catholic Church,” they added. “With such blessings, the Catholic Church becomes, if not in theory, then in practice, a propagandist of the globalist and ungodly ‘gender ideology.’”
Fiducia Supplicans not Valid
Francis’ “delirious declaration” constitutes his own personal sanction of the sin of homosexually and not one of the Church, because the Church cannot sanction it no more than it can the sins of murder or rape. Fiducia Supplicans is not a valid ecclesiastical declaration but an illicit and blasphemous one of those who have turned against Church teaching. Francis and his LGBT collaborates have now gone on record as being apostates.
But there is a silver lining to Fiducia Supplicans in that it provides a litmus test to make manifest who the true and false members of the Church are. For in the same way that support for Roe vs. Wade would show one to be pro-abortion, so support for Fiducia Supplicans shows one to be pro-homosexual. And of course, one cannot be pro-homosexual and Catholic at the same time.
The Lines Have Been Drawn
The line has been drawn; this is a spiritual call to arms. It is time for ‘the wheat and the cockle’ to take their side in the battle. We are witnessing the final fulfillment of the 1976 prophecy of Cardinal Wojtyla [later Pope John Paull II] when he said:
“We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the Gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the Antichrist. The confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence. It is… a trial which the Church must take up, and face courageously.”
